D.A.R.E. Program: Boone County
Activity: Halloween Safety

The children at Perry-Worth Elementary participated in a short program with D.A.R.E. Officer Deb Martin that gave advice on what to do and say to strangers and how to stay safe while trick-or-treating.

Retro Bill was the main character in the movie she shared and gave great tips on safety that included:

• Stay with a grown up
• Don’t go into houses
• Use a flashlight
• Don’t talk or take things from strangers
• Walk Away or run if a stranger comes
   up to you
• Tell a grown up
